Target Audience - Experienced Law Enforcement Trainers (Post-AET)
Prerequisites - AET (Level 3) or equivalent, and 300+ hours of classroom delivery experience.
Learning Outcomes:
- Critically evaluate learning theories and their relevance to modern policing and public sector education environments.
- Develop and apply advanced facilitation strategies that cater to neurodiverse and operational learners.
- Design and implement blended and digital learning solutions using platforms such as Moodle, MS Teams, and Zoom.
- Incorporate technology-enhanced learning tools (e.g., Mentimeter, Kahoot, Padlet, Miro, Loom, Canva) to maximise learner engagement.
- Create SCORM-compliant or LMS-based e-learning modules to evidence instructional design capability.
Assessment - Written thesis, LMS content build, online F2F session, in-person assessment, reflective log.
Certification - BLD Certificate in Advanced Digital and Pedagogical Training (ADAPT).
Validation - Delivered under BLD’s Professional Framework, benchmarked against CET standards.
